The Atlanta Falcons Got What They Wanted In Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix | A. F. Party (Falcons)
I wouldn’t be surprised if Arkansas beat Texas and Vandy gave them a run for their money 😂
So I could not disagree more. The big pieces in the lineup are not the problem as much right now. Currently tho Marcel and Matt are going through a cold stretch. Jarred, Austin, Sean and Ozzie are seeing the ball right now. It’s the bottom of the order that struggles a lot. It puts so much pressure on the top 1-5 so if a couple go cold it’s becomes an uphill climb. AA will be making moves at the deadline this team will be buyers. The big pieces are staying! A couple contact bats and possibly a new SS could be big and getting Mike back. The current list of teams that are out of it is low and there’s not much that’s going to help right now. One of the issues right now is there’s a lot of power bats but not as many completer hitters or contact bats who are fast on the base paths. We really only have a couple in the whole lineup. That’s why getting Mike and a couple contact bast will be a big help. The long ball isn’t getting rewarded as much as it used to be and they need some different bats to help combat the power outages. Right now the big focus is capitalizing on the series we have in front of us. The bast we need aren’t available yet so it’s gonna be internal for now. It’s not time to panic but we now know what needs to occur at the and before the deadline in order to rebuild some of the lineup. AA and this team will never throw in the towel it’s not who they are
Braves are now 6-30 when opposing team scores four or more runs
Ok so who are the Braves gonna get? The farm system is awful!
Call the Chicago White Sox
Imagine having the a top 4 record in the NL and talking about pushing the panic button...
I think the term not resting on your laurels applies in this situation
I believe the Mets are going to run down the Braves for second in the division very soon.
If the DAWGS are still as pissed off as they were with FLA. St, the teams on their schedule better watch out…
Ewers eats boogers ,and his coach does too !!
LOL
By the way the Phillies are braves Daddy. When you constantly lose to the Phillies in the playoffs specially two years in a row. Who ur daddy! Who's your daddy! Phillies are.
No he doesn't
Texas is not physical and don’t have average Defense You about to Play Real defense I hope you get a embarrassed 👎
As a huge UK fan, I keep expecting us turn a corner, but our 'reliables' at bat are, overall, sterile! We stay in games, have opportunities to take the W but can't get over the line. Even if we stumbled into post season we will come unstuck against a better team, of which this season, there are a lot better 'teams' than the Braves. Frustrating but staying faithful.
Thanks for checking us out! I am hopeful too. This team had two BIG injuries that have hurt this team wholistically. They need some outside help to shock these bats into what we expected coming into the season. -JD
Texas schedule is comical
As Brian perfectly laid out lol
Nothing about Georgia scares Texas. Georgia receivers are average.
That's hard to believe
Having a Top 3 Offense is average? Georgia has plenty of receivers, including the TE and RBs. You guys gonna learn quick
Bama stiĺl in the sec dudnt they beat Georgia and allways beat Georgia smh
They sure did beat Georgia in the 2021 national championship game.
@@skullyready7786 1 HUGE difference, no more Saban in tuscaloosa

Ewers told the truth. The SEC media and fan base just doesn't realize it yet.
This is Georgia's conference, buddy
@@choatican gotta have won sumn before you talk about being everyone's biggest game smh Texas fans
Braves won't even take wild card Olsen, arcia, albies,no production with RISP we need Harris,
Braves at bat ethics have always been inconsistent on patience for selection and DONT ADJUST TO WHOM IS PITCHING….it’s always a brave batter waiting on the pitcher to make a mistake in a zone as they are taking bad swings and TAKING TOMANY PITCHES while bat sits on shoulder doing nothing, especially when their behind in runs !…..Braves batters are taking only ONE swing per at bat while striking out looking….inning after inning same story same results…ID START WITH CHANGING STAFF ESPECIALLY THE PITCHING COACHES AND HITTING…BRING IN NEW BLOOD BEFORE YOU start thinking of putting contract players on ABSCESSED TOOTH issues or some other made up reason to get on 10-15 day lists..think back on what pitchers have started got hurt or had surgery to take longer coming back and then traded …GAUSMAN example seemed to mature better after leaving Braves was it physiological or?..it’s been happening a lot time for change in the pen staffing! Hitting? Maybe a salary reduction for GM might get Alex moving and take less vacations to fix the real issues…for the ones paying high price drinks and food to help pay these high salaries while they watch bad fundamentals of the game on the field by professional players has come tobe a joke in a reality setting these days, surprised to see that many people show up at truist park to witness bad coaching and pro players not adjust to opposing pitchers as this is part of the game.
I’ve preached somuch on why how when snit needs to learn SMALLBALL situations just for a W and again snit blows game with leaving lopez in beyond his pitch count while knowing he’s to pitch on 5 th day rotation…Lopez blows pitch locations on 2 different batters being ahead in count and throws batting practice fb down middle for 2 HR back to back while umpire was giving 6-8 inches OFF plate away for 4 innings OMG WHY LOPEZ WHY NOT STAY IN THAT ZONE…2-3 innings of player hustle every game will NOT get you wins or swinging away with no outs and runner on base..same old crap hopes of LONGBALL when down in runs…no consistency or patience at plate by most of lineup = low pitch counts for opposing pitchers negates waiting for 6 or 7 th inning for a new pitcher to enter game ,hoping for more FB thrown…omg same crap every year ,just bad coaching as players seem tobe playing depressed no enthusiasm or positive vibes in dugout ,could only imagine how depressing the clubhouse is..unless after losing games the dugout gets to party in clubhouse after each loss..seems what’s going on these days…ONLY IF THE FANS KNEW THE REAL STORY ,I BET THE FAM WOULD STAY HOME OR SELL THEIR SEASON TICKET SEATS LIKE OUR FAMILY DID IN 2022…it’s a business ,makes one think games are thought out before the game ever starts in who wins .
How we tried nothing different. AA has gotten too comfortable with this.
Too many strike outs!!! Especially with runners on base. When you get two strikes you choke up on the bat and make contact to opposite field. What I was taught at 13 years old. Forget about all that launch angle stuff. See ball - hit ball.
This teams in trouble.. lineup sucks
Ignore Sewers. They will know sooner than later. Might even lose to the mid tier Sec teams.
Atleast we saw some bunting and then they come out and swing at trash with players on,it seems when Kelnic has runners on in front of him he just has a trash at bat like he panics and just swings at trash
Bummer is a Bum he should had been sent out and kept Hernandez up,it seems he can’t pitch a clean inning
Almost like the SEC scheduled an easy schedule for Texas on purpose hmmmm….need that big Texas TV market
what does that have to do with them being targeted by SEC teams?
I think a lot of people know I have been really hard on Duvall lately. But he is starting to have better at bats and put better swings on the ball. So hopefully he is getting out of his slump. I loved seeing the defense from Kelenic in the game today. And loved Duvall's reaction to Kelenic making the play on the second line drive.
Call up nacho already
Im not happy they keep loosing abd the wildcard spot is looking like less of a sure thing which is concerning. That said im VERY happy that i saw the offense actually trying to make it happen tonight for the first time in a while. The guys at the bottom of the order bunted Ozzy Albies stole a base. If they keep doing stuff like that it will come. Even the power may come if they start making the other team worried tha they can hurt them in other ways.
They aren't losing the Wildcard spot.
@@wittybanter96 Didn't say they were. I said it's starting to look like less of a sure thing. A few weeks ago they were 5 games above the second wildcard team. Solidly in the 4th seed. It looked like a lock. Now they are 3 games up from being out of the wildcard spot altogether. They are losing ground and there's a tight grouping of teams right behind them. They are a bad week from being out of playoff position.
@@kyleOWillFixIt I wouldn't go that far. It's just a two game skid. They'll bounce back. As a whole, they've been playing much better the last 3 weeks
@@wittybanter96 The problem is less the two game skid and more that other teams are getting it together and we're not. The 3 teams behind us (all within 3 games) the Cardinals, Mets and Padres are all 7-3 in the last 10 games. We are 4-6. If that exact same trend continues the next 10 games we would be tied with New York for the last wildcard slot. It's a lot more realistic for us to miss the playoffs than I ever imagined it would be even a month ago.
@@kyleOWillFixIt It's not realistic. It's nihilistic at this point. The odds of all 3 of them keeping up that pace is slim to none. If we continue to hit the ball hard, things will even out. We may need to get a few bats at the deadline too, but ultimately we will be just fine
Ready for the Sooners playing in the SEC this season….The Braves are a waste of time speaking on
The braves are only good because of their pitching, and somehow they are are still good on paper.... but they are not good
Yo!
Jake, just make this the title of the season, and let's move on to football lol
Why? The Braves can still be successful this year
@@wittybanter96 have you seen any signs that would lead you to think that? I haven’t
@@kevinm552 The last 3 weeks
@@wittybanter96 they were barely over .500 and fell 3 more games back of the Phillies. Ummm nope.
@@kevinm552They'll be within 5 again in a month
I'm surprised they're still over .500, and I wonder how much longer they will be.
Just accept it. They are not in this year. Make trades change the manager.
@@robertilardi6290 Based on what? They're still 9 games over .500. They will be just fine
@@wittybanter96 They are not hitting it's been that way all year.
I have already accepted it. These Braves are not the Braves of 2023. After 83 games, they are who they are. I don't see them improving much.
You're going to miss a great run in October then @@JCPJCPJCP
Hi Jake. Same problem: anemic offense. Pitching struggled tonight which is unusual. It’s time to stop making excuses and call it like it is!! Philly missing key players but continue to score runs and win games consistently. So, why are Braves not able to score runs.??? I continue to follow at a distance . But I hope to be able to get back into the mix soon. Very difficult. Keep up your quality work. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.
